M&A Mindset Intro

Good morning.

Selling a business ultimately comes down to a series of decisions, and the right answer is never determined by one number or one factor.

This week's Framework introduces the Deal Assessment SWOT Framework, a structured way for sellers to evaluate an offer beyond headline value. Price matters, but so do structure, upside, risk, dependencies, certainty to close, and what the deal actually requires from the seller.

This week's Brief, Waiting Is A Decision, looks at the other side of the equation. Owners often view waiting as preserving their options, but choosing not to sell means continuing to own the risks and opportunities of the business. Sometimes waiting creates value. Sometimes it doesn't. Either way, it is an active decision with an outcome.

As always, no cost, no hidden agenda, just clarity.

Every offer requires a decision. So does walking away from one.
